Beigegeben ein Gutachten von Emilio Negro, Spilamberto, 1. November 1998, mit einer Zuschreibung an Antonio Mercurio Amorosi (1660 –1738), in Kopie.
Fast raumfüllend tritt uns die eine aufstrebende Diagonale beschreibende Figur eines Engels gegenüber mit Palmzweig und Blattwerk. Hinterfangen von rotem Velum.
Italienischer Maler des Barock aus Genua. Er war Schüler von Domenico Fiasella und bekannt für seine religiösen und mythologischen Gemälde. Trotz seines jungen Alters zeigte er großes Talent, starb jedoch tragisch mit nur 23 Jahren. (1460153)
