In einem Innenraum eine junge nackte Frau nach rechts auf einem Stuhl sitzend, den Kopf in die linke Hand gestützt. In Brianchons Werken, in denen das Hauptmotiv die Darstellung der Frau ist und die sich durch seine subtile Kompositionsweise sowie raffinierte Farbgebung auszeichnen – so auch im vorliegenden Bild, sucht der Künstler stets nach einem einfachen Ausdruck für Stimmung und Empfinden.
