Die Vedute zeigt die Rialtobrücke sowie den Palazzo dei Camerlenghi. Sie wird belebt durch die zahlreichen Staffagefiguren, die Boote und Lastkähne steuern oder über den Platz eilen. Der Blick, durchaus geläufig bei den venezianischen Vedutenmalern, führt unter der Brücke hindurch auf weitere Gebäude. Auffällig ist die Farbgebung der Figuren wie auch die detaillierte Wiedergabe der Architektur. Der helle Himmel mit den vereinzelten Wolkenformationen taucht die Vedute in ein freundliches Licht.
