Drei zylindrische Füße, den bombierten halbkugeligen Korpus haltend, mit Rauten- und Noppenmuster sowie Zikadenband und wandungsseitiger Inschrift. Feine Kupferoxidationspatina. Runde hohe Bandhenkel.

Unusually large ting ritual vessel
Height: 40 cm.
Diameter: 29.5 cm.
China, western Zhou Dynasty, 9th-8th century BC.
Three cylindrical feet support the cambered, hemispherical body with a diamond and knurl pattern, a decorative cicada band and an inscription on the body. Fine copper oxide patina. Tall round strap handles.
