Blick auf den Fluss Loing, auf dessen rechter Seite eine breites beiges befestiges Ufer zu sehen ist mit mehreren Figuren aus der französischen Gemeinde Saint-Mammès, sowie die Front eines Hauses, an der ein Fahrrad steht und ein Mann im Türeingang, der auf zwei Pferde blickt. Linksseitig des Flusses eine weite Landschaft mit hoher Baumallee.
Der Künstler war ein französischer Postimpressionist, der von Claude Monet (1840 – 1926) beeinflusst wurde.
