Vor beigem Hintergrund die aufeinanderliegenden Zweige auf der Platte eines Sockels mit gelblich weißen Blüten in unterschiedlichen Stadien, teils voll aufgeblüht, teils mit Knospen. Harmonische Wiedergabe in zurückhaltender Farbgebung.
Die Künstlerin bekam ihren ersten Unterricht von ihrem Vater und ihrem Großvater mütterlicherseits Andreas Schelfhout (1787–1870), der ihr zudem die Aquarelltechnik beibrachte. Zu ihren Lieblingsmotiven gehörten Blumen in ihrem meist natürlichen Zustand, häufig auf einer Steinplinthe. (1472236) (18)
