Blick auf den von der Sonne beschienenen Tuilerien-Garten in Paris mit großem Brunnen und kleiner Wasserfontäne vor dem Palastgebäude im Hintergrund. Die zahlreichen kahlen Bäume deuten auf einen sonnigen Wintertag hin, den zahlreiche Figuren für einen Spaziergang nutzen und von denen einige im Vordergrund auf Stühlen sitzend das schöne Wetter genießen. Stimmungsvolle Malerei in weichen Farbtönen in impressionistischer Manier.
