Blick durch eine markante Straße in Auriol auf ein mittelalterliches Denkmal, den Uhrturm, in hellen warmen Farben wiedergegeben. Der Künstler verwendet klare Linien, um räumliche Tiefe zu erzeugen und der dargestellten Straße mit wenigen Figuren Dreidimensionalität zu verleihen. Durch die Kombination dunkler Konturen mit einer fauvistischen Farbpalette und raschem, meist breitem Pinselstrich, gelingt es ihm, die Atmosphäre der Region und des Ortes mit seinen Bewohnern einzufangen.
