Eine halb liegende Frau, anmutig auf einer Récamiere ruhend, den Oberkörper sanft zum Betrachter gedreht, der Blick jedoch ruhig und entrückt abgewandt. Hinter ihr öffnet sich die Szenerie einer Donauansicht mit Stadtpanorama, in fein abgestuften grünlich-grauen Tönen gehalten. Die Komposition verbindet sachliche Klarheit mit stiller Innerlichkeit – typisch für Mácsais Stil, der zwischen realistischer Beobachtung und poetischer Zurücknahme eine leise zeitlose Eleganz entfaltet.
