In einer großen Tee- oder Heißwasserkanne mit polychromem Blütendekor ein die gesamte Raumbreite bespielender Päonienstrauß mit Margeriten.
Die Werke des Künstlers zeichnen sich durch sanfte Farben, lichtdurchflutete Szenen und eine poetische Stimmung aus. Er verband impressionistische Leichtigkeit mit symbolistischer Innerlichkeit und schuf vor allem Landschaften, Stillleben und intime Figurenbilder.
