Vor einer nicht näher definierten Architektur nimmt die Heilige Familie den Großteil des Bildgrundes ein. Maria trägt fürsorglich ihren Sohn auf dem Schoss, der sich in einer kleinen Drehung Josef zuwendet. Dieser sitzt neben der Hauptgruppe. Ihm gegenüber ist die Heilige Elisabeth gezeigt, die Johannes den Täufer stützt. Die reichen Farbabstufungen und feine weiche Pinselführung sowie die deutlich konturierten Figuren mit den gekonnten Hell-Dunkel-Effekten zeigen die Meisterschaft des Künstlers. (1462052) (10)
