Alexandre-Louis Bellangé,

Veilchenholz, vergoldete Bronze, Porphyr. Akanthusblattfüße in vergoldeter Bronze, in eine passige quadratische Bodenplatte übergehend. Der konisch auslaufende gekantete Schaft gesockelt und auf vier Löwentatzen stehend. Die Ecken des Schaftes mit Widderköpfen beschlagen. Mehrfach horizontal gegliederter Überfang und Porphyrdeckplatte mit Ormolu-Umrandung. Korpus und Bodendeckplatte mit Palisanderfurnier.

Anmerkung:
Ein sehr ähnliches Paar Torchèren des Hofebenisten Alexandre-Louis Bellangé (1797-1861) stand im Secretary´s Room des Schloss Windsor, um 1826, Sammlung des Grafen von Normanton in Somerley, Hampshire.
