In einer Scheune sitzt an einem einfachen Holztisch ein Bauer, vor sich eine Platte mit einem großen Schinken stehend. Links von ihm ein Mann mit einem Messer, eine Keule in seiner linken Hand haltend. Rechts eine sitzende Frau in Rückenansicht, einem kleinen Kind etwas zu Essen reichend, während ein weiteres kleines Kind linksseitig eifrig Brei löffelt. Ergänzt wird die frohe Tischrunde durch einen Wein trinkenden Mann. Hinter ihm führt eine Leiter zu einem kleinen Verhau nach oben. Darstellung in der typischen Manier des Künstlers, in überwiegend monochromer beige-brauner Farbgebung. (1471631) (18)
