Im weichen Licht der Sonne, Blick auf die Piazza San Marco mit den beiden Säulen, die Venedigs Stadtheiligen Markus und Theodorus gewidmet sind. Auf den Säulen befinden sich daher der Markuslöwe bzw. die San Teodoro Statue. Im Hintergrund, unter hellblauem Himmel, die Lagune mit diversen Gebäuden. Auf der Piazza sind einige Händler und auch Besucher zu sehen. Feine Malerei in stimmungsvollem Licht. Minimale Rahmenschäden. (1181236) (5) (18)
