Die Arbeit gehört zum so genannten "Wall House Project" des amerikanischen
Architekten John Hejduk. Jedes Jahr werden Künstler für 10 Tage in sein Haus, das heute ein Museum ist, in Groningen eingeladen, um das Projekt zu interpretieren.
Mitra Tabrizian ist eine englisch-iranische Fotografin und Filmregisseurin. Die promovierte Künstlerin beschäftigt sich in ihren fotografischen, genau inszenierten Arbeiten mit Zukunftsvisionen, spielt mit Ängsten und Aussichten menschlichen Zusammenlebens und untersucht das Verhältnis von Realität und Simulation. Ihre Fotografien finden sich u.a. in der Tate Britain in London und im Folkwang Museum, Essen.
