Colin Christians Werke verarbeiten Motive aus dem Bereich alter Science-Fiction-Filme, der Pin-ups und der japanischen Manga-Kultur oder orientieren sich auch an der düsteren Phantasy-Literatur des Briten H. P. Lovecraft. Überlebensgroße Formate betonen dabei die Künstlichkeit seiner hyperrealistischen Figuren, die er aus einem Materialgemisch aus Fiberglas und Silikon schafft, das ihm zudem die Möglichkeit einer sehr differenzierten Bemalung gibt, so bestehen die Hauttöne meist aus einer Mixtur 20 verschiedener Pigmente. Phosphorisierendes Material wurde bei „Glowgirl 2“ für Augen und Helm verwendet.
Eine Wimper am linken Auge abgebrochen (unauffällig), sonst von sehr guter Erhaltung. Mit Hängevorrichtung.

Colin Christian‘s oeuvre is influenced by old science-fiction movies, pin-ups, Japanese manga anime or by literary motifs by the British author H.P. Lovecraft. Larger than life sizes emphasize the hyperrealistic character of his figures. Christian uses a mixture of fiberglass and silicone for his sculptures, which allow him a differentiated colouring, the skin tone contains more than 20 various pigments, that create a lively impression, while eyes and helmet of “Glowgirl 2“ are made from phosphoric material. Loss of one lash at the left eye (unobtrusive), otherwise overall in very good condition.
