In den für Lindström charakteristischen kräftigen Farben ist die vorliegende Arbeit ausgeführt. Pastos aufgetragene Farbflächen drängen gegeneinander. Doch stehen die Farben nicht nebeneinander, sondern greifen ineinander, wodurch ihre Leuchtkraft noch verstärkt wird.
Lindström studierte in Stockholm bei dem schwedischen Maler Isaac Grünewald. 1948 zog er nach Paris, wo er unter Lhote und Léger seine Ausbildung fortsetzte. Bekannt wurde er insbesondere durch seine Wandgemälde und Außenskulpturen in kräftiger Farbigkeit.
