Tief gemuldeter Teller mit breiter Fahne. Im Spiegel ist auf den dunkelblauen Fond eine Wappenkartusche mit überhöhender Krone gezeichnet. Diese umschließen ein Wappen, das horizontale Streifen in Blau und Gold zeigt. Unter dem Wappen ist eine Muschel angebracht. Einwandfreier Zustand.
Anmerkung I:
Das Dekor auf tief dunkelblauem Fond in Weiß oder oft auch Gold war in Castelli sehr verbreitet.
Anmerkung II:
Ähnliche Wappen in Blau und Silber bzw. Schwarz und Silber besitzen die Familien de Angelis aus der Gegend von Neapel und Marchi aus Florenz.

Height: 3.5 cm.
Castelli, 16th century.
Deep dish with broad border. The centre features a cartouche with arms on a dark blue ground topped by a crown. The arms show horizontal stripes in blue and gold with a shell below. Excellent condition.
Notes I:
The white or quite often gold ornamentation on dark blue ground was very common in Castelli.
Notes II:
The Angelis family from the region of Naples and the Marchi family from Florence own similar arms in blue and silver or black and silver.
