Vorne bezeichnet und datiert "Par MR. Caffieri, 1759". Innen gestempelt mit dem verschlungenen "LL" der Manufaktur Sèvres und "23M".

Die Plastik zeigt einen Flussgott auf fast runder Basis. Er sitzt auf einem Fels und hat das Bein über eine Amphore geschlungen, aus der ein Fluss entspringt Das Flußwasser kräuselt sich auf der Platte. Schöne Alterspatina.
Anmerkung:
Die ausgeführte Marmorskulptur "Un fleuve" befindet sich im Musée du Louvre, Paris.

A marble sculpture which appears to have been completed from this model (under the title “Un Fleuve”) is located in the Louvre Museum, Paris.
