In Blue John gearbeitete ovoide Korpusse mit zweifacher horizontaler Profilierung. Montiert auf gesockeltem Akanthus-Lorbeerblattfuß mit gekehlter quadratischer Basis mit eingezogenen Ecken. Seitliche gegossene und fein ziselierte nereide Putti mit mehrfach gekreuzten geschuppten Fischleibern. Deren Hände die ornamentalisierte Mündung umgreifend, der Hals innen mit reliefierten Blüten zwischen trapezförmigen und mit Schlangenhaut punzierten Kartuschen. (†) (12901440) (13)

England, 1820-1830.
Ovoid Blue John vases with double horizontal profiling. Mounting groove on a socketed acanthus bay leaf base with a fluted square base with recessed corners. Lateral cast and finely chased Nereid putti with scaled, crossed-over fish bodies. Their hands encircling the ornamental muzzle, the inside of the neck with flowers in relief between trapezoidal cartouches stamped with snakeskin patterns. (†)
