Große Venusfigur in jaspisfarbigem Marmo rosso. Der Figurentyp folgt dem antiken Vorbild, das die griechische Bezeichnung entsprechend des auffallend schönen Gesäßes als die „Schönhintrige“ genannt wurde. Auf unten angebrochenem Sockel mit abgewinkeltem Bein stehend, Kopf und Oberkörper umgewandt, um den Betrachter auf ihr markantes Schönheitsmerkmal hinzuweisen, das Badetuch hochgenommen, weist sie auch als „Venus im Bade“ aus. Der hier angenommene Künstler war bekannt für seine Repliken nach antiken Statuen und Werken der Bildhauerkunst im italienischen 19. Jahrhundert. Feine Ausführung in edlem Steinmaterial; Teile des oberen Tuches angebrochen. (1251163) (3) (11)
