Die Echtheit wurde am 25. Januar 2010 anhand von Ektachromen bestätigt durch Dr. Francesca Baldassari. Sie datiert das vorliegende Gemälde in das letzte Jahrzehnt des 17. Jahrhunderts und zieht einige Vergleichsstücke heran.
Vor unbestimmtem braunen Grund heben sich polychrom in die Tiefe gestaffelte Früchte ab: Zwergbirnen, Aprikosen und Kirschen liegen zwischen Birnen und Pflaumen. Ein recht ähnliches, wenn auch etwas kleineres Gemälde, welches ebenfalls Aprikosen und Zwergbirnen zeigt, ist bei der Fondazione Zeri als in einer Privatsammlung befindlich unter Nummer 89150 verzeichnet.

In wooden ripple moulding frame.
Authenticity was confirmed by Dr. Francesca Baldassari refering to images of the painting, 25 January 2010.
A very similar, although slightly smaller painting, which also depicts apricots and dwarf pears is recorded with no. 89150 at Fondazione Zeri as held in private collection.
