Die hölzerne Truhe mit flachem Deckel und seitlichen Tragegriffen, Front mit reicher Schnitzerei und zwei schräg gestellten Tatzenfüßen, innen mit rotem Samt ausgelegt und goldfarbenem Band, im Deckel Goldstickerei mit Krone, Initialen und Datierung „V. F. W. 25 Januar 1858“. Schlüssel mit beschriftetem Anhänger „Thruhe Schlafz“. Rückseite außen Aufkleber zum Standort der Truhe „Kaiser-Friedrich-Palais. Zimmer No 236“. Stickerei der Krone leicht beschädigt. Ein Schlüssel vorhandenAnmerkung:
Der deutsche Kronprinz Friedrich Wilhelm Nikolaus Karl von Preußen (1831 – 1888), der spätere Kaiser Friedrich III, heiratete an diesem Datum in London Victoria (1840 – 1901), das älteste Kind von Königin Victoria und Albert von Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha. (1190051) (18)
