Auf weiß getünchter Wand mit einer zentralen ovalen Lukenöffnung werden diverse Jagdgegenstände an Haken aufgehängt vorgestellt, die den weißen Hintergrundschatten bilden. Durch die gerahmte Luken- oder Fensteröffnung ragt der Kolben einer Schrotflinte herein, darüber gelegt ein Jagdhorn, seitlich Pulverhörner, Jagdmesser, Riemen mit Beutel und Quaste. Die Gegenstände zum Teil verflochten oder eingebunden in ein Jagdnetz. Im Zentrum, vor dunklerem Hintergrund, ein Pfauenauge, links eine Fliege, die ebenfalls an der Rückwand ihren Schatten bildet. Das Stillleben insgesamt in der Objektwahl, aber auch in der Farbauffassung von erstaunlicher Modernität. (11904823) (11)
