Anbei ein signierter Brief von Jacques Chalom des Cordes vom Wildenstein Institute, welcher auf den 12. März 2009 datiert und die Aufnahme des Gemäldes in den in Vorbereitung befindlichen Catalogue Raisonné bestätigt.
Eine ovale Komposition aus einer Kugelvase und einem darin befindlichen, in leichter Aufsicht betrachteten Strauß hebt sich vor blauem Grund ab, welcher viele Blumenstillleben van Dongens hinterfängt. (†)
