Bronze, gegossen, patiniert bzw. vergoldet. Über quadratischer Plinthe die gefußte ovaloide Vase mit auskragender Mündung. Über dem Fuß und an den Seiten als Henkel montiert sowie mit fruktalen Festons dekoriert. Besonders schön die plastisch dargestellten Handhaben, welche in schlanker zierlicher Form aus einem Akanthusblatt erwachsen und sich, nachdem sie sich gekreuzt haben, in die fruktalen Festons übergehen. Der Übergang wird jeweils markiert durch eine knittrige Schleife, welche der Epoche entspricht. Wenige Alters- und Gebrauchssp. Patinierung eventuell etwas übergangen. (1180438) (13)

Cast, patinated and gilt bronze. Square plinth, oval-shaped vase on foot with protruding mouth. Only few signs of ageing and wear. Patination possibly retouched.
