Das Thema des alten Testaments, wonach Lot sich von den beiden Töchtern betrunken machen lässt, bevor sie ihn verführen um die Nachkommenschaft zu sichern. Hier großformatig dargestellt. Die Figuren in starke Nähe zum betrachter gebracht, in der typischen Hellfarbigkeit der Werke des Malers. Lot in Dreiviertelfigur nach rechts sitzend, blickt fragend und ebenso widerstandslos auf eine der Töchter, während die andere soeben Wein in eine Schale gießt. Im Hintergrund südländisch leuchtendes Blattwerk. Am linken Bildrand ist hell beleuchtet eine weiße Gestalt zu sehen, wobei es sich hier um die Frau des Lot handelt, die der Bibellegende gemäß zur Salzsäule erstarrt ist. (1090743) (11)
