Bestehend aus fünf Tapetenpapierbahnen, auf Leinwand aufgezogen und auf Keilrahmen bespannt, wohl aus der Pariser Manufaktur „Dufour & Leroy“.
In Grisaillemalerei, mit Darstellung einer südlichen Landschaft mit Flusslauf, italienischen Gebäuden am Ufer, einer erhöht auf dem Berg stehenden Tempelruine, rechts ein Rundturm an der Hafeneinfahrt, links eine Baumgruppe als Repoussoir.
