Paracelsus getauft als Philippus Theophrastus Aureolus Bombastus von Hohenheim, 1493 - 1541. Geschnitze Holzfigur in Dreiviertel-Lebensgröße. Der Dargestellte in langer Gewandung im Kontrapost auf einer mitgeschnitzten, kantigen, engen Plinthe stehend. Der Mantel mit Fellsaum, das Kleid mit kugelförmigen Knöpfen. Der Kopf typisch nach frühen Bildnissen und Stichwerken gestaltet, mit hoher, kahler Stirne. Die rechte Hand hält ein geöffnetes Buch, die linke eine Schreibfeder. Grau gefasst. Möglicherweise ehemals Nischenfigur einer Apothekenausstattung. Hinten gehöhlt. Fassung rest. (10110610)

Paracelsus was baptized as Philippus Theophrastus Aureolus Bombastus von Hohenheim, 1493 - 1541. Hollowed on the reverse. Polychromy restored.
