Terrakotta, gefasst. Der Sockel über rechteckigem Grundriss mit Kehlungen und Wulsten in rotem, schwarz-cremefarben geädertem Marmor, darauf die sitzenden Löwen auf einer natürlich geformten Bodenplatte. Ein männlicher und weiblicher Löwe, in einer Vordertatze jeweils einen großen Wappenschild haltend. Dieser geschweift aus C-Bögen und Rocaillen geformt, beim weiblichen Löwen einen Helm zeigend. Der männliche Löwe trägt ein Schild mit Löwe und traubenförmigen Ornamenten. Die beiden kleinen Plastiken waren wohl gedacht, einen herrschaftlichen Treppenaufgang oder ein Eingangsportal zu flankieren. Der Entwurf von hoher, plastischer Qualität und meisterhafter Durchführung. Insgesamt in schönem Zustand, minimal besch. (1010696) (12)
