Auf einer nicht näher definierten Tischplatte, die sich am unteren Viertel der Bildfläche vom dunklen Hintergrund abhebt, steht eine durch schimmernde Reflexe definierte Glasvase. Darin den oberen Bildraum füllend eine strahlend weiße Iris, zwei rot-weiß geflammte Tulpen, Rosen, Stiefmütterchen und eine Anemone. Für die Werkstatt von Jan van Kessel d. Ä. typische Arbeit.
