Der Heilige ganzfigurig dargestellt mit seinem Pilgerstab und dem daran aufgehangenen Pilgerhut, sein Haupt hingegen umfangen durch einen goldenen Nimbus. Vor seiner Brust, mit der rechten Hand aufgeschlagen, eine Bibelstelle: Jakobus 1,22 „ESTOTE FACTORES VERBI ET NON AVDITORES TANTVM [...]“ Der Hintergrund ein weites Tal mit Architekturstaffage. Links unten vermutlich ein Vorgängerbau der Kirche Santiago de Compostella. (1211021) (13)

Full-figure portrait of the saint with pilgrim’s staff, with pilgrim’s hat on top of the staff and a golden halo surrounding his head. A Bible held in his right hand in front of his chest depicts the following passage: James 1:22: “ESTOTE FACTORES VERBI ET NON AVDITORES TANTVM [...]”. A vast valley with architecture staffage is shown in the background. In the bottom left probably a depiction of the previous building of the Church at Santiago de Compostela.
