Hochrechteckige Darstellung mit zahlreichen Heiligen das Sterbebett Mariens umstehend. Die Komposition weist deutliche Ähnlichkeit mit Giovanni Battista Naldinis (1537-1591) „Grablegung Christi“ in der Kirche Santa Maria Novella auf. Nicht nur die Grundkomposition, sondern auch einzelne Figuren, wie der Mann in der rechten unteren Ecke sind zu vergleichen. Weiterer in Frage kommender Künstler wäre Francesco Morandini (1544-1597), welcher zeitweise mit Giovanni Battista Naldini zusammenarbeitete. Besch., minimal rest. (10911216) (13)

Portrait format depiction of numerous saints standing around the Virgin Mary’s deathbed. The composition shows striking similarities with the Entombment of Christ by Giovanni Battista Naldini (1535 – 1591) at Santa Maria Novella in Florence. Another potential creator could be Francesco Morandini (ca. 1544 – 1597) who occasionally collaborated with Naldini. Damaged, with minimal restoration.
