Bedeutendes Majolika-Portrait-Tondino aus Faenza

Durchmesser: 22,5 cm.
Um 1500.

Im Zentrum Büste einer Dame mit grüner Haube im Profil nach links vor dunkelblauem Fond, hohe Wandung mit geometrischen Mustern in drei Registern. Breiter Rand mit Blütendekor vor blauen Arabesken auf weißem Grund und Blauverlauf im Fond. Bemalung in Dunkelblau, Orange und Türkisgrün auf Weiß. Gebrochen und rest. mit einigen Ergänzungen am Rand und Füllungen entlang der Bruchstelle.

An Important Maiolica Portrait Tondino from Faenza
Diameter: 22.5 cm.
Circa 1500.

Broken and restored with a few additions on the rim as well as fillings along the cracks.
