Bronze, honigfarben patiniert. Auf quadratischem, hohem Sockel in schwarzem, grau geädertem Marmor. Die gefesselte, nackte Andromeda steht auf einer quadratischen Bodenplatte in leichtem Kontrapost und neigt ihr schönes Haupt leicht nach links. Das geflochtene und hochgebundene Haar wird von einem angedeuteten Band gehalten. Die Signatur deutet darauf hin, dass der Entwurf nach 1896 entstanden ist, dem Jahr in dem die Künstlerin ihren Cousin heiratete. Von da an signierte sie stets auch mit seinem Namen Wislicenus.
