Im Spiegel im Profil nach links Büste eines sehr eleganten, jungen Adeligen. Im weißen Fond der mit etwas Abstand nachgezogenen Kontur Punktemuster. Im runden Bildfeld links und rechts blaue Blüten und Rollwerk auf orangefarbenem Untergrund. Konzentrische Kreise zum Rand. Breites Randfeld dekoriert mit Pfauenfeder-Muster auf weißem Grund mit feinem, blauem Rankenmuster "alla porcellana". Gebrochen und rest., Haarriss, einige Chips an den Rändern und am Fuß.

Large Maiolica portrait platter
Diameter: 38.3 cm.

Probably Faenza or Pesaro, around 1480 - 1500.
Fractured and restored. Hairline crack, several chips along the rims and base.
