Sog. Oudenaarder Wandteppich. Querformat, mit breiter, noch gut erhaltener Randbordüre, mit Blattwerk, Pflanzen und Fruchtgebinden. Die Bilddarstellung zeigt in der rechten Hälfte einen großen Mamor-Figurenbrunnen mit auf einem Delfin sitzender, mythologischer Figur einer Venus oder Thetis sowie einer Sirene, aus deren Brüsten Wasser speit. Im Hintergrund Baumbestand mit Durchblick in helle Landschaft, im Gezweige rot gefiederte Papageien - einer im Geäst, ein weiterer am Brunnenrand. Im Vordergrund Schilfpflanzen und Sträucher. Insgesamt in guter Erhaltung, die Höhe des Teppichs vermutlich im unteren Teil leicht verkürzt, Rückenfutter neuzeitlich. (851372)
