Sammlung von 115 Bänden in blindgeprägtem Schweinsleder oder Pergament, Einbände oft über Holzdeckeln, mit ornamentaler oder figürlicher Prägung, Messingschließen, teils Wappen-Supralibros und anderen Verzierungen. Zum großen Teil Drucke des 16. und 17. Jahrhunderts, einige spätere Titel. Dabei literarische und historische Werke in deutscher, lateinischer und italienischer Sprache, Theologie, Jura, Geographie, illustrierte Naturwissenschaften etc. Hervorzuheben sind: Die große Naturgeschichte des Plinius in einer Ausgabe von 1582, ein prachtvolles Exemplar des Werkes über okkulte Wissenschaften von Lemnius (Antwerpen 1574), schöne Klassikerausgaben (Caesar, Plautus, Seneca, Plutarch u.a.), große Reihenwerke zur Geschichte Europas, Bände mit Emblemkupfern etc. Nicht im Einzelnen kollationiert, normale Alters- oder Gebrauchsspuren, insgesamt jedoch gut erhalten und sehr dekorativ.

The white library

Collection of 115 volumes in blindstamped pigskin or vellum, covers often mounted on wooden boards with ornamental or figurative embossing, metal clasps, partly with coat of arms supralibros and other ornamentations. A great part from the 16th and 17th century. Thereby literary and historical works in German, Latin and Italian in the fields of theology, law, geography, illustrated natural sciences, etc.
Some of the most notable titles being: The large History of Nature by Pliny the Elder from 1582, a magnificent exemplar of the work about the occult sciences by Lemnius (Antwerp 1574), beautiful editions of the classics (Caesar, Plautus, Seneca, Plutarch etc.), large serial works concerning the history of Europe, volumes with emblematic engravings and so forth. - Not collated in detail, normal traces of use and aging but altogether in a good condition and very decorative.
