Gemäldepaar. Jeweils vor landschaftlichem Hintergrund im Oval gemalt. Der Herr in schwarzem Mantel mit weißem Halstuch, das dunkle Haar im Modestil der Zeit kurz geschnitten mit langem Kotelettenbart. Die junge Dame in weißem Seidenkleid mit hochgestelltem Rüschenkragen, blauen Bändern und einem roten Kaschmirschal, das Haar in Stopsellocken hochgebunden mit einer rosafarbenen Rose. Der Qualität des Malers entsprechende Portraits, insbesondere ausdrucksvolle Physiognomie und feine Stoffbehandlung. Die Landschaft im Hintergrund zeigt in beiden Gemälden einen breiten Fluss mit Gebäuden und Kirchturm am Ufer vor ansteigenden Hügeln. Im Oval gemalt und von ovaler Innenrahmung abgedeckt. (770986)
