Runde Schalenform in Schildpatt mit Goldrand, nach innen hin in Schweifung dekoriert. Im Fond zum Teil reliefartig erhabene Malerei in Gold mit Darstellung eines Pfaus auf Baumstamm über Wasseroberfläche mit seitlich hochwachsenden Blüten und Gräsern sowie einem fliegenden Vogel. Die Pfauenaugen in Perlmutt eingelegt (teilweise ausgebrochen). Kurzer runder Standfuß.
Provenienz:
Um 1910 in Japan erworben und seitdem in deutschem Adelsbesitz.
