Tanzio da Varallo,

Neben den zahlenmäßig weit überlegenden Gemälden, die eine figurative religiöse Thematik zeigen, nimmt sich die Anzahl, die Blumenstillleben zeigen, sehr gering aus. Vor dunklem, fast schwarzem Fond setzt Varallo kontrastierend eine in Messing getriebene Prunkvase mit Löwenkopfdekor. Darin von überlappendem Bärenklau eingeführt ein Blumenstillleben in pyramedialer Komposition gelbe, weiße und rote Blüten zeigend. Rest.
