25 Centimes blau Cérès und Bayern 9 Kreuzer grün, entwertet mit geschlossenem Mühlrad "159", daneben Halbkreisstempel KISSINGEN 4/8 (1852) und französischer Grenzübergangsstempel Bayern/ Forbach 8. August 1852 auf Brief nach Chanday. Die 9 Kreuzer decken dabei den innerdeutschen Versand während die 25 Centimes Cérès der französischen Taxe von Postamt zu Postamt entsprechen. Spektakuläre Mischfrankatur Frankreich/ Bayern, in dieser Form einzigartig.

Stamps: Bavaria and France
25 Centimes Cérès in blue and 9 Bavarian Kreuzer in green, cancelled with closed mill wheel "159", with semi-circle KISSINGEN 4/8 (1852) stamp next to it and French border crossing stamp Bavaria/ Forbach 8 August 1852 on a letter addressed to Chanday. The 9 Kreuzer cover the postage within Germany, while the 25 Centimes Cérès are the equivalent of the French tax from post office to post office. Spectacular mixed French/Bavarian franking, unique in this combination.

25 centimes Cérès bleu et 9 Kreuzer vert de Bavière oblitérés du cachet chiffre 159 de Bavière, à coté cachet en demi-cercle bavarois de Kissingen 4/8 (1852) et le cachet français de passage Bavière / Forbach 8 août 1852 sur lettre à destination de Chanday. Les 9 Kreuzer couvraient le port intérieur allemand tandis que le Cérès correspond à la taxe française de bureau à bureau. Affranchissement mixte France / Bavière spectaculaire. Unique et superbe.
