Dem Gemälde ist eine Expertise von Dr. Klaus Ertz beigegeben, Lingen 11. November 2013.

(1091381) (10)

WHITE CURRANTS AND INSECTS ON PAPER-COLOURED SURFACE

Oil on oak panel.
16 x 21 cm
In old, carved and gilded oak Baroque frame.

Accompanied by an expert's report by Dr Klaus Ertz dated Lingen, 11 November 2013.

The fruits and insects seem to be haphazardly arranged but are well placed with trompe l'oeil shadows on a surface that is the colour of yellowed paper. A white currant branch is depicted centrally, stretching from lower left to the upper right corner of the image.

This object has been individually compared to the information in the Art Loss Register data bank and is not registered there as stolen or missing.
