Elfenbein geschnitzt, Silbermontierung getrieben, teilvergoldet und ziseliert. Wulstfuß mit gelapptem Stand, Wandung mit Hochrelief. Nymphen eine Pansbüste huldigend darstellend. Putto als Handhabe. Ein Arm und eine kleine Stelle in der Wandung rest. (10703650) (13)

Hanau, second half 19th century.

Carved ivory; wrought, parcel-gilt and chased silver mounts. Tankard decorated in high relief with nymphs worshipping a bust of Pan, the lobed stand with torus-shaped foot and with handle in the form of a putto Restoration to one arm of the putto and a small area of the tankard.
