Paar Majolika-Vasen in Form eines alten Paares

Entwurf von Urbano Lucchesi (1844 - 1906). Auf einem runden Rasensockel stehen ein alter Mann sowie eine alte Frau. Hinter den beiden naturalistisch wiedergegebenen Personen dient ein Baumstumpf als Blumenvase. Der Alte trägt ein ländliches Gewand mit Kniebundhose, Hut, offenem Hemd, in den Händen einen Regenschirm und eine in Korb gebundene Flasche Chianti. Er hat einen Hasen gefangen, der ihm an der Linken herabhängt. Die Alte ist in ein langes Kleid mit Bluse und Schürze gewandet. Sie hat ein totes Huhn auf dem einen Arm, die andere Hand hält einen Korb mit zwei Weinflaschen. Die Bemalung in Blau, Grün, Braun, Mangan, Gelb und zartem Rosé für das Inkarnat sowie Schwarz vor weißem Fond.
Der Stock des Regenschirms wieder angesetzt und Chips an der Bodenplatte der Alten.
