Der Künstler studierte an der Moskauer Hochschule für Malerei, Bildhauerei und Architektur, später bei Aleksej Kondratevic Savrasov (1830 - 1897).
Pastos und breitpinselig aufgetragene Malerei, das Mädchen im Dreiviertelbildnis nach rechts, mit einem hochgenommenen Fruchtkorb sowie einem weiteren Korb gefüllt mit Blumen. Im Hintergrund bergige Landschaft und ein Gebäude mit Dachreiter. Lockere, spätimpressionistische Malweise.
