Anbei ein signierter Brief von Jacques Chalom des Cordes vom Wildenstein Institute, die Aufnahme des Gemäldes in den in Vorbereitung befindlichen Catalogue raisonné bestätigend 12. März 2009.

Eine ovale Komposition aus einer Kugelvase und einem darin befindlichen, in leichter Aufsicht betrachteten Strauß hebt sich vor blauem Grund ab, welcher viele Blumenstillleben van Dongens hinterfängt. (†)
