Über Füßchen mit Akanthusblattdekor stehende, konisch auslaufende gekantete und kannelierte Beine, die in plastischen vergoldeten Hermen enden und mittig durch einen Schlaufensteg verbunden sind. Einschübige Zarge mit hervorspringendem Mittelrisalit, der durch eine liegende chinoise Goldlackkartusche auf schwarzem Fond dekoriert ist. Darüber eine Kehlung mit Frontschreibplatte, diese ebenfalls mit passiger chinoiser Lackkartusche und vierschübigem Inneneinbau sowie blauem Textilbezug als Schreibplatte. Überfangender Schub mit Druckknopfmechanismus und den Dekor des unteren Schubes wiederholend. Deckplatte in violett-gelb geädertem Marmor mit Ormolu-Feston und à jour gearbeiteter Bronzegalerie. Ein Schlüssel vorhanden.
Anmerkung:Henry Dasson war ein erfolgreicher Pariser Ebenist für durch vergoldete Bronzen montierte Möbel. 1878 und 1889 nahm er an den Weltausstellungen in Paris teil und zeigte Möbel im Louis XV- und Louis XVI-Stil.Literatur:Vgl. Henry Dasson was a successful Parisian ebonist for furniture with gilt mounts. In 1978 and 1889 he participated in the Expositions Universelle in Paris, exhibiting furniture in the Louis XV and Louis XVI styles.
