Über vier gedrückten Kugelfüßen der in Weichholz gearbeitete, in verschiedenen Hölzern kontrastierend furnierte Korpus. Unterteil dreischübig mit zweifach hervorspringenden Nasen und dort befindlichen Löwenmaskarons mit Ringhenkeln. Durch die Bewegung der Schauseite liegende Rechteckkartuschen, die von Spiegelfurnier umgeben sind. Zentrale barocke Ormolu-Schlüsselschilder. Deckplatte mit Spiegelfurnier versehen. Aufsatz in der Horizontalen wie in der Vertikalen dreifach gegliedert. Sockelzone mit einem Schub von Profil überfangen. Darüber verspiegelter Pendelkasten mit Pendeldurchbruch von zwei Türen flankiert. Darüber das verglaste Zifferblatt mit dahinterliegendem Uhrwerk, flankiert von zwei Vasenaufsätzen. Aufsatz mit vier horizontalen Églomisé-Kartuschen im unteren Segment und mit insgesamt 14 Églomisé-Kartuschen in den Flanken. Allesamt mit dichtem goldradiertem mythologischem Programm, wodurch der Schrank als Gelehrtenschrank des Barocks den höchsten Ansprüchen genügt. Zifferblatt: Schwarze römische Stunden und arabische Minuten auf vergoldetem Zifferring alternierend mit durch Doppellilien gefüllte Kartuschen. Á jour gearbeitete vergoldete Zeiger für Stunden und Minuten vor Himmelsscheibe und drei weitere Gestirnsscheiben mit goldenem Figurendekor. Ein Schlüssel und ein Pendel vorhanden. Besch. Rest. Cabinet with four horizontal églomisé cartouches in the lower segment and a total of 14 églomisé cartouches on the sides. They all depict dense mythological scenes etched in gold so that the whole cabinet can be described as a baroque scholar‘s cabinet of the highest quality.
