Am sandigen Ufer eines bewachsenen Teichs, aus dem einige Schilfgräser hervorragen, eine helle Schale mit Fischen. Malerei in frischer Farbgebung in typischer Manier für den bekannten Künstler. Auf der linken Seite des Blattes durchgehende Faltsp.

Provenienz:
Aus dem Besitz der Familie des Künstlers.

Ausstellungen:
Das Werk wurde anlässlich des 70. Geburtstags des Künstlers im Jahr 1956 in der Nationalgalerie Prag ausgestellt. Im Ausstellungskatalog wird es unter der Nummer 13 genannt. Katalog im Original vorhanden.

Anmerkung:
Kokoschka lebte einige Zeit mit seiner Frau Olga Palkovska in Prag. (1200611) (18)

Exhibitions:
On the occasion of the artist's 70th birthday in 1956 the artwork was exhibited at the National Gallery in Prague. It is listed under no. 13 in the exhibition catalogue. Original catalogue enclosed.

Notes:
For some time Kokoschka lived in Prague with his wife Olga Palkovska.
